Dana Wachs Wants to Raise WI Taxes

Wisconsin State Rep. Dana Wachs (D-Eau Claire) is one of many Democratic candidates hoping to win the August gubernatorial primary. An outstate Democrat might make a race more interesting than a predictable Madison or Milwaukee Democrat (see 2010, 2012 recall, 2014 elections) getting defeated by Governor Scott Walker.

But Dana Wachs needs to find a way to stand out from the field. So he is now launching some policy ideas. He begins with a new healthcare program.

New programs of course cost money. That means Rep. Dana Wachs wants to raise your taxes. Will any reporter ask him how he will pay for his new program?
