Lawmakers call for Matt Flynn to Step Down

Two Democratic women state lawmakers are calling for Attorney Matt Flynn to quit the race for Governor. Flynn has been attacked for her representation of the Catholic Church. Women’s March Wisconsin had even confronted Flynn at an event to tell him to drop out of the race.

Now State Representative Chris Taylor and State Representative Melissa Sargent are publicly calling on him to drop out of the race. Following the release of the latest Marquette Law School poll, State Representative Dana Wachs and Businessman Andy Gronik dropped out of the race, leaving 8 Democratic candidates still running. The Democratic Primary is on August 14. The winner will face Republican Governor Scott Walker this fall.
