Leah Vukmir’s first TV ad released
Wisconsin State Senator Leah Vukmir is trying to make up ground on Republican front-runner Kevin Nicholson in Wisconsin’s US Senate Primary. So she released her first tv ad on Monday.
This ad’s main goal is to help Vukmir raise money before the end of the 2nd Quarter (June 30). She raised expectations that the Party Endorsement was helping her raise money and she needs to draw attention to herself to do that. The ad could be meant bait the Left into attacking her, so she can fundraise off of their attacks.
This ad is an open acknowledgment that she knows she is losing the primary campaign right now and needs to do something to shake up the race. RightWisconsin (which has given her favorable coverage throughout the campaign) called it the worst political ad in Wisconsin history. Many other conservatives are attacking the ad for its odd gun placement and dark coloration reminiscent of an attack ad against someone. Since they did not announce how much the tv ad buy is for, it is likely a very small buy.
Leah Vukmir’s first ad is a complete bust.
