The Milwaukee Police Association (MPA) has endorsed Supreme Court Candidate Judge Brian Hagedorn.

Representing 1,600 men and women who serve in the Milwaukee Police Department, the MPA’s endorsement is always coveted to bolster law and order credentials for candidates seeking election to the highest court.

In a statement, Judge Brian Hagedorn said, “it is a tremendous honor to receive the Milwaukee Police Association’s endorsement in this race. Our law enforcement professionals walk the thin blue line every single day to protect our communities. As the grandson of a Wauwatosa police officer, law enforcement trusts me to protect the public and defend the rule of law on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.”

MPA President Shawn C. Lauda praised Hagedorn:

“On behalf of the Milwaukee Police Association, we are pleased to endorse Judge Brian Hagedorn for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The MPA appreciates Judge Hagedorn’s steadfast commitment to protecting the public and enforcing the rule of law, and we are confident he will be a strong ally of law enforcement on the Supreme Court.”

The Supreme Court election is on April 2 between conservative backed Judge Hagedorn and liberal/socialist backed Judge Lisa Neubauer. The winner will take Justice Shirley Abrahamson’s seat on the high court.
