PETA targeting Tammy Baldwin
PETA, the radical pro-animal group, has set their sights on Tammy Baldwin because of her sponsorship of the controversial “Dairy Pride Act.” This bill is an attempt from the Dairy Industry to fight the increasing competition they are facing from dairy alternatives like almond, soy, and coconut milk.
Since Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin represents the Dairy State, she is doing the bidding of the dairy industry. So PETA has launched a “De-calf your coffee: Dairy Is Udder Cruelty. Choose Almond, Soy, or Coconut Milk” vegan message for Madison during National Dairy Month (June). They are targeting Madison because it is Baldwin’s hometown. Their advertising will show up on nearly 20,000 cruelty-free creamer sleeves across the country. Among the cafés in Madison with PETA’s sleeves are People’s Bakery and the Sunroom Cafe.
