Politico finds greater chance Republicans beat Tammy Baldwin
Politico is out with their latest “Top 10 Senate races” where they rank the US Senate races based upon their likelihood to flipping. Democrats are defending eight of the 10 races most likely to change parties. Last month, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) was barely on their list at Number 10. But this month, they move Tammy Baldwin up 2 spots to Number 8, ahead of Montana’s Jon Tester and Ohio’s Sherrod Brown.
Their analysis:
“Trump won Wisconsin by a smaller margin than he won some other states on this list, but Wisconsin is rising because of the money already directed at Baldwin, arguably the only unabashed progressive among the Democrats in our top 10. The Koch brothers network of conservative donors and GOP super-donor Richard Uihlein have both targeted the race, pouring millions into attacks ads targeting Baldwin.”
