Sean Duffy Blasts How the Green New Deal would Harm the Poor

Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy made some excellent points about how the Green New Deal would harm the poor and force more homelessness.

He called out the hypocrisy of Speaker Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and others who fly private jets around the country, ride in gas guzzling SUVs, yet try to force a program on the poor that would cause homelessness.

At one point, Duffy prompts some response from a Democratic colleague who didn’t like that he was pointing out the Democrats hypocrisy.

But don’t worry, the Green New Deal was brought to the floor of the Senate for a vote on Tuesday to show the world the widespread support it has. One would expect it would get tons of Democrat support, but nope, not one Senator voted in favor of it. AOC noted that she encouraged the Senators to vote “Present.” This led to an epic video from Mitch McConnell:

So the Green New Deal is so unpopular, the Democrats are running away from it.
